If you need to cancel a booking or shorten your trip after making a reservation with KeralaCars.in, the following. cancellation and refund terms will apply.
Cancellation charges and refund eligibility may vary depending on the type of booking, travel duration and time remaining before the scheduled travel date.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Charges & Refunds
- Cancellation 10 or more days before the travel date
If a booking is cancelled 10 days or more before the scheduled travel date, no cancellation charges will apply and the full booking amount will be refunded.
- Cancellation between 6 and 9 days before the travel date
If a booking is cancelled between 6 and 9 days before the scheduled travel date, 75% of the booking amount will be refunded.
- Cancellation 5 days before the travel date
The refund applicable will depend on the type of booking:
- Multi-Day Trip:
The applicable charge for the first day of the trip will be deducted from the booking amount, and the remaining eligible amount will be refunded. - Single-Day Trip / Airport Transfer:
No refund will be provided.
4. Cancellation 2 days before the travel date or later
For cancellations made 2 days before the travel date or on the travel date, no refund will be provided.
Important:
The applicable cancellation policy is based on the date and time the cancellation request is received by KeralaCars.in.
Shortening of a Trip
If a customer requests to shorten a trip after the journey has commenced, the rental charges will be recalculated based on the actual usage and the applicable daily minimum rates and kilometre limits.
The revised amount will take into consideration:
- The number of days actually used
- The kilometres travelled
- Applicable daily minimum charges
- Applicable kilometre limits
- Remaining or unused travel requirements
- Other applicable charges under the booking
The revised rental amount will not be calculated on a simple pro-rata basis
of the original fixed-rate quotation.
Any refund resulting from shortening a trip will be determined after the revised charges have been calculated.
Refunds
Where a customer is eligible for a refund under this Cancellation & Refund Policy, the applicable refund amount will normally be processed within 5–7 working days after confirmation of the cancellation and refund eligibility.
The actual time taken for the amount to appear in the customer’s account may vary depending on the payment method and the customer’s bank or financial institution.

How to Request a Cancellation
